I just wanted to point out the look on Bolin’s face. Do you see that confused, bewildered look? I mean, he knows that Meelo is Tenzin’s son and, granted, Meelo is strange, but so is Bolin. Besides, Bolin is the last to judge.
Notice now that Korra looks normal, appreciative of what she’s looking at.
Why is all this?
Because Bolin is looking at the father son relationship that he missed out on when his father died. Korra lived with a father her entire life, so this sight is a normal one for her. Not for Bolin, though, due to the fact that he lost his parents and had to grow up too fast. He misses this relationship, this bonding, and thus looks confused. Not because he doesn’t understand, but because he wonders what his relationship with his father would have been now. And, most important, he misses his father.
Why did I stop to read this?

Bolin said after he woke up that he’d just had an awful dream about Korra being taken by an evil bloodbender.
And the he said like it wasn’t such a big deal, him having that kind of horrible dream.
He said it like he was used to them.
Now I’m wondering exactly what kind of nightmares Bolin has been having after he got kidnapped by Amon.
